Finally, the Triple Crown Championship! The championship round will be the top twelve points teams, two lucky losers and the highest placing King Fling Team that did not fish the series. The "Lucky Losers" will be two teams whose name will be picked out of a hat that did not make the top 12 in points. These 2 teams will get the chance to fish the championship and win the grand prize and be the Trible Crown Series Champions! The cost of the championship round will be $500 per team.

The Triple Crown Chamionship Teams will be fishing to take home a brand new Scout, Yamaha and trailer package worth over $22,000!! In the championship round the teams will fish for any three fish that were allowed to be weighed in during the tournament series. This means bring in any combination of Cobia, Grouper, Snapper, Kingfish, Black Fin Tuna, Permit and Amberjack (only 1 AJ can be weighed per team in the championship). The teams can bring in 3 different species or all three of one speicies, it doesnt matter just bring in the three heaviest fish! The team that brings in the highest three fish weight will be the Triple Crown Champion and win a new boat, motor, trailer package. There is also some strategy involved in the Triple Crown! The anglers in the championship round must have fished 2 of the 3 tournaments on the same team. So there will be no ringers jumping on board just for the final round.
